The present work titled " CULTURAL ANCESTRAL PRACTICES OF HEALTH IN SIMIATUG CENTRAL ON MAY-OCTOBER 2017" have to object to determine the cultural ancestral practices of health in the Central Simiátug on May-October 2017; the method that was applicated in this research was interviews that 50 people who provided ancestral medicine and others such as: yachak, healers, midwives, cleaners, hierbateros, sobadores, scrubbers and health institutions, education and medium of comunication (radio) and the foundation RUNAKUNAPAK YACHANA of the Simiátug central. The design of the present work is the study of type descriptive, retrospective prospective and transversal, the same that resulted in the interviews obtaining and approximate a number of midwives 18, yachak 8, healers 2, sobadores 4, scregadores1, hierbateros 5, cleaners 3, another 9, the final report of this investigation was presented to the authorities of the State University of Bolivar. Taking as a conclusion that: One of the main customs of the inhabitants of the Simiatug central we observe the use of ancestral medicine for the cure of their diseases. It is determined that in the majority of the families of Simiátug central keeps alive the tradition of imparting knowledge on cultural practices ancestral to new generations. Information was obtained through interviews, books, bibliographic sources, and publications on a website. Cultural Ancestral Health practices are not affected by the growth of Western medicine.
El presente trabajo de titulación denominado: “PRÁCTICAS CULTURALES ANCESTRALES DE SALUD EN SIMIÁTUG CENTRAL MAYO-OCTUBRE 2017” tiene como objetivo Determinar las prácticas culturales ancestrales de salud en la parroquia Simiátug Central Mayo-Octubre 2017; el método que se aplicó en esta investigación fueron entrevistas a 50 personas prestadores de la Medicina Ancestral y otros tales como: yachak, curanderos, parteras, limpiadores, hierbateros, sobadores, fregadores e instituciones de salud, educación medios de comunicación (radio) y la fundación RUNAKUNAPAK YACHANA de la parroquia Simiátug. El diseño del presente trabajo es un estudio de tipo descriptiva, retrospectiva prospectiva y transversal, el mismo que tuvo como resultado, la obtención mediante las entrevistas un aproximado de parteras 18, yachak 8, curanderos 2, sobadores 4, fregadores1, hierbateros 5, limpiadores 3, otros 9, el informe final de esta investigación se presentó ante las autoridades de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar. Teniendo como conclusiones que: Una de las principales costumbres de los habitantes de la parroquia Simiátug, se observa el uso de la medicina ancestral para la cura de sus enfermedades. Se determina que en la mayoría de las familias de la parroquia Simiátug mantiene viva la tradición de impartir conocimientos sobre prácticas culturales ancestrales a nuevas generaciones. Se obtuvo la información por medio de entrevistas, libros, fuentes bibliográficas, y publicaciones en sitio web. Las prácticas Culturales Ancestrales de Salud no se ven afectadas con el crecimiento de la medicina occidental.
