El trabajo tiene de objetivo realizar un estudio analítico del reservorio de la arenisca U Inferior del campo Auca Sur con la implementación de un proyecto de recuperación secundaria. La recuperación secundaria tiene como objetivo inyectar agua para mejorar el índice de desplazamiento de crudo o factor de recobro. Los factores clave para continuar con la recuperación secundaria son; la gran disponibilidad de agua compatible con el reservorio, la capacidad de convertir pozos productores a inyectores y la imposibilidad de detener la depletación de la presión por recuperación primaria. La metodología usada consiste en el uso de los modelos de Buckley - Leverett, Stiles y Dysktra – Parson, los cuales presentan las restricciones pertinentes para cada método utilizado. Con tales precedentes fue posible realizar una comparativa de los resultados obtenidos por lo modelos utilizados y los resultados de pozo.
The objective of this study is to carry out an analytical study of the reservoir of the U Inferior sandstone of the Auca Sur field with the implementation of a secondary recovery project. Secondary recovery aims to inject water to improve the rate of oil displacement or recovery factor. The key factors for continuing secondary recovery are; the high availability of water compatible with the reservoir, the ability to convert producer wells to injectors and the impossibility of stopping the depletion of pressure by primary recovery. The methodology used consists of the use of the Buckley - Leverett, Stiles and Dysktra - Parson models, which present the pertinent restrictions for each method used. With the previous stories it was possible to make a comparison of the results obtained by the models used and the results of the well.
