Evaluación de cuatro distancias de siembra y cinco niveles de nitrogeno en cebolla de bulbo (Allium cepa L. Grupo Aggregatum), variedad "Paitena" en Pilco, Tungurahua

Description: La presente investigación se realizo en el recinto el Tingo, parroquia Pilco, cantón Quero, provincia de Tungurahua a 3300 m.s.n.m.= El objetivo fue el de determinar el efecto de cuatro distancias de siembra ( 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, y 0.4 m entre plantas) niveles de Nitróge no ( 45,90,135,180 y 225 Kg/ha) en el rendimiento total de bulbos y otras cinco alternativas agronimicas en cebolla "Paiteña". La aplicación de urea, fuente de Nitrógeno, se realizó al momento de la siembra en dosis de 45 Kg/ha. De acuerdo a los tratamientos, esta aplicación se aplicó cada 30 días hasta alcanzar el nivel de 225 Kg/ha.
The present work was carried out at El Tingo, Pilco, Quero, Tungurahua Province, at 3300 meters of elevation. The objective was to determine the effect of four spacings among plants within rows (0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 m) and five levels of Nitrogen (45, 90, 135, 180 and 225 kg/ha.) on the commercial yield and other agronomic traits of the local red onion known as "Paiteña". A Randomized Complete Block Design with three reps was utilized within Factorial Arrangement of 4 x 5. Tukey's Múltiple Range Test at 5% leve! was used for spacings, Nitrogen levels and interactions. Orthogonal comparisons were used for Nitrogen levels and spacings. The Partial Budget Method was used the economic analysis.
