En este artículo se muestra las creencias y comprensión que tienen los docentes de LAS Unidades Educativas “José Joaquín Olmedo” y “Guayaquil” sobre la naturaleza de la ciencia, por medio de la aplicación del COCTS (Cuestionario de opiniones sobre Ciencia, Tecnología y sociedad), en donde se abordaron ciertas cuestiones, que nos facilita la determinacion de pensamiento cientifico que poseen los docentes. Las creencias que poseen los docentes, tienen una inclinación objetiva y positivista, es por ello que la naturaleza de la ciencia debe estar inmersa tanto en la formación de docentes, siendo primordial la mejora en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la naturaleza de la ciencia en la educación, para que también los estudiantes comprendan, analicen e interpreten, para dar soluciones viables a los diferentes problemas del contexto. Es importante destacar la descripcion de la metodología empirica que se encarga de consegir un consenso claro y preciso sobre la enseñanza de naturaleza de la ciencia.
This article shows the beliefs and understanding teachers about the nature of science, through the implementation of the COCTS (Questionnaire of views on science, technology and society), where they discussed certain issues, which provides us with the determination of scientific thought that have teachers. The beliefs that have teachers, have a positivist objective and tilt, it is for this reason that the nature of science must be immersed both in the training of teachers, primary being the improvement in the teaching and learning of the nature of science in education, so that students understand, analyzed, and interpreted to give viable solutions to the different problems of the context. It is important to note the description of the empirical methodology that is responsible for getting a clear consensus and precise on the teaching of nature of science.
