ANÁLISIS DE LOS FACTORES QUE CONTRIBUYEN AL ÉXITO ACADÉMICO EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA BILINGÜE GÉNESIS

El cambio necesario en el Sistema Educativo del Ecuador, exige que las instituciones se preocupen por que el mayor número o casi la totalidad cumplan con este propósito, de ahí que la investigación se realiza en la Unidad Educativa Bilingüe Génesis, de característica particular donde las autoridades se preguntan ¿qué factores contribuyen para que el estudiante tenga éxito académico? Con el propósito de encontrar el mayor número de actividades en beneficio de aportar a éste. Se utilizó una metodología con un paradigma socio crítico, englobando una modalidad de campo y en los niveles exploratorio y descriptivo, con el apoyo de la técnica de encuesta, entrevista y observación y la aplicación de cuestionarios a estudiantes, docentes y padres de familia de sexto a décimo año con el apoyo de las autoridades del Plantel. Se hizo una segmentación a través de las más altas calificaciones, actividades deportivas, artísticas y de representación, de acuerdo a criterios del Departamento de Consejería Estudiantil y tomando en cuenta las publicaciones realizadas en un medio de comunicación de la localidad. Luego de la recopilación de los resultados obtenidos y de su interpretación se concluye que, la motivación y autoestima del estudiante juega un papel preponderante para el logro del éxito académico así como la contribución familiar que en su mayoría está dado por las madres de familia quiénes comparten más tiempo con sus hijos les ayudan y controlan el desempeño escolar, por otra parte está la institución mediante el cuerpo docente preparado y la dotación de tecnología necesaria así como amplios espacios verdes, los tres factores más destacados en esta investigación manifiestan que un entorno estable garantiza la realización y obtención de metas esperadas. Al confrontar estos resultados con lo que manifiestan autores como: Castellanos, 2010; Medina, 2010 y Toledo, 2012 se mantiene que la realidad institucional visibiliza que el ambiente de aprendizaje tiene que ser de calidad y de cumplimiento a la normativa legal del Ecuador, con lo cual se encuentra que la Unidad Educativa Bilingüe Génesis realiza un aporte valioso al desarrollo de la educación con calidad y calidez.
