El objetivo de este artículo es identificar elementos estéticos presentes en las artesanías populares y objetos de diseño como elemento proyectuales y de comunicación. Para lo cual, se conceptualizará el término estética estudiada por diferentes autores desde conceptos básicos como lo hace la Real Academia de la lengua Española, continuar con Konrad y Gottlieb desde una postura filosófica, hasta la conceptualización de la estética en función a lo útil, se repasa a Heidegger, Dewey y Kant en la que se concluye que “el hombre comunica y se comunica a través de los objetos”, y como medio de comunicación se sistematiza a una teoría de signos en la que se analiza a través de Peirce. Con estas indagaciones, se definen características estéticas presentes en las artesanías y objetos de diseño para entender la dialéctica y el estigma del pensamiento del observador y del objeto como medio de comunicación.
The objective of this article is to identify aesthetic elements present in folk handicrafts and objects of design as a project and communication element. For that, the aesthetic term studied by different authors from basic concepts such as the Royal Academy of the Spanish language, to continue with Konrad and Gottlieb from a philosophical position, to the conceptualization of aesthetics in function of the useful, will be conceptualized. He reviews Heidegger, Dewey and Kant in which it is concluded that "man communicates and communicates through objects", and as a means of communication is systematized to a theory of signs in which is analyzed through Peirce. With these inquiries, aesthetic characteristics are defined in the crafts and objects of design to understand the dialectic and stigma of the thought of the observer and the object as a means of communication.
