El presente trabajo se enfoca en uno de los ejes más importantes de la planificación urbana como es la vivienda social. Por medio de una investigación en campo se aplica herramientas como la encuesta y la observación directa para identificar oportunidades y resolver necesidades para espacios reducidos en cocina y comedor de viviendas de interés social, solventando requerimientos funcionales. Por tal razón se lleva a cabo un proceso de investigación de diseño en el cual se despliega las siguientes etapas: identificación de oportunidades, programación y especificación, diseño conceptual, desarrollo de diseño, diseño detallado y producción, generando un prototipo de mueble multifuncional mediante un software de modelado paramétrico, dando un esquema detallado y explicativo del mismo.
The present work focuses on one of the most important axes of urban planning such as social housing. Through research in the field, some tools such as survey and direct observation are applied to identify opportunities and to solve needs of small spaces in the kitchen and dining room of social interest housings. For this reason, a design research process is carried out in which the following stages are deployed: identification of opportunities, programming and specification, conceptual design, design development, detailed design and production, generating a prototype of multifunctional furniture using software of parametric modeling, giving a detailed and explanatory outline of it.
