La escritura académica es uno de los indicadores más significativos en la formación profesional, mucho más cuando nos referimos a quienes se preparan para la carrera docente; pues se convierte en un eje transversal que incluye procesos de construcción y producción; por eso resulta pertinente abordar el problema sobre los conflictos que se generan cuando la comunicación requiere códigos escritos; así, esta investigación descriptiva de enfoque cualitativo parte de la sustentación teórica, presenta la metodología usada y muestra los resultados preliminares sobre aspectos que posteriormente se cotejarán con pruebas de escritura; pero que proporcionan datos para tratar de acercarnos al contexto y conocer qué se está produciendo en las aulas, qué se evalúa, qué se conoce sobre la escritura, sus procesos, características, qué o quién influye en la escritura, qué se corrige, qué se recomienda y cuáles son las dificultades más usuales; que tienen estrecha relación con el objetivo primordial: evaluar la escritura académica de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación, Humanas y Tecnologías de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo para que al finalizar se cuente con una línea base a fin de identificar dificultades de escritura académica agrupadas en tipos y niveles. A esto se debe sumar la proyección investigativa de buscar alternativas de solución, ya que se pretende a futuro, la implementación de un Centro de Escritura en el que se enfatice una práctica que cambie la perspectiva de una escritura obligatoria por una escritura epistémica.
Academic writing is one of the most significant indicators in vocational training, much more when we refer to those who prepare for the teaching career; Since it becomes a transversal axis that includes processes of construction and production; It is therefore pertinent to address the problem of the conflicts that arise when communication requires written codes; Thus, this descriptive research of qualitative approach starts from theoretical support, presents the methodology used and shows the preliminary results on aspects that will later be compared with writing tests; But that provide data to try to approach the context and know what is occurring in the classroom, what is evaluated, what is known about writing, its processes, characteristics, what or who influences writing, what is corrected, what is Recommends and what are the most common difficulties; Which are closely related to the primary objective: to evaluate the academic writing of the students of the Faculty of Education Sciences, Humanities and Technologies of the National University of Chimborazo so that at the end there is a baseline in order to identify difficulties of Academic writing grouped into types and levels. To this must be added the research project to find alternative solutions, as it is intended in the future, the implementation of a Writing Center in which emphasize a practice that changes the perspective of a writing compulsory for an epistemic writing.
