El Turismo Local en el Cantón General Villamil Playas: Una Reflexión desde la normativa gubernamental.

De acuerdo a las cifras de turismo interno y receptor del Ministerio de Turismo del Ecuador obtenidas en el año 2015, se afirma que el turismo de sol y playa es la modalidad que mayor flujo de turistas a nivel nacional genera en la actualidad, sin embargo, el desarrollo de las poblaciones y comunidades costeras no ha sido equitativo a esta realidad. En este contexto, General Villamil Playas, único balneario de la provincia del Guayas, ha tenido un desarrollo turístico irregular, intermitente y poco sostenible a través del tiempo a pesar de contar con una ubicación geográfica ideal, con importantes atractivos turísticos y un clima privilegiado. Por ello, la presente investigación tiene como finalidad describir aquellos factores que inciden en el poco progreso y desarrollo del cantón mediante el análisis de la normativa gubernamental, estudios y demás bases teóricas relacionadas a la temática. Es así que, efectuado el análisis y revisión correspondiente, se concluye que la administración local es la principal protagonista de las distintas problemáticas que afectan hoy en día al balneario, producto de la falta de aplicación de instrumentos de desarrollo adecuados.
According to the figures of internal tourism and receiver of the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador obtained in the year 2015, it is affirmed that the tourism of sun and beach is the modality that more flow of tourists in national level genres at present, the development of coastal populations and communities has not been equitable to this reality. In this context, General Villamil Playas, the only resort in the province of Guayas, has had an uninterrupted, intermittent and unsustainable journey over time with an ideal geographical location, with tourist attractions and a privileged climate. Therefore, the present research aims to describe the factors that influence the little progress and development of the canton through the analysis of government regulations, studies and other databases related to the subject. Thus, the analysis and the corresponding review, it is concluded that the local administration is the main protagonist of the various problems that affect today the spa, the product of the lack of application of the appropriate development instruments.
