En el Instituto Superior Tecnol?gico Juan Bautista V?squez (ISTJBV), se ha evidenciado la insuficiencia de cultura investigativa en los estudiantes de primer ciclo; la investigaci?n, como proceso sustantivo, contribuye a la formaci?n de profesionales competentes, por tanto, existe la necesidad de analizar los factores que influyen y motivan, en los estudiantes, la cultura de investigaci?n. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar las percepciones existentes en los estudiantes del instituto, en torno a la importancia de la cultura investigativa en su formaci?n profesional, entendiendo a esta como el puente entre el quehacer acad?mico y el v?nculo con la sociedad civil, dentro de la educaci?n superior. Entre los principales hallazgos, se observa que el 70 % de los estudiantes manifiestan estar interesados en la investigaci?n y en vincularla a sus ?mbitos profesionales; el 98 % se?ala que facilita su aprendizaje, el desarrollo de competencias, mejora sus calificaciones, genera actitud proactiva y nuevas experiencias de aprendizaje, a trav?s de los Proyectos Integradores de Saberes y el acompa?amiento de sus docentes, a pesar de las dificultades presentes de infraestructura y recursos econ?micos para la investigaci?n.
At Instituto Superior Tecnol?gico Juan Bautista V?squez (ISTJBV), insufficiency of research culture in first cycle students has been evidenced, research as a substantive process, contributes to the training of competent professionals, therefore, there is a need to analyze the factors that influence and motivate students to research culture. The objective of this study is to analyze the existing perceptions in institute's students, regarding the importance of the research culture i their professional training, understanding it as the bridge between academic work and the link with civil society within the university. Among the main findings, 70% of the students state that they are interested in research and in linking it to their professional fields; 98% indicate that it facilitates their learning, the development of competencies, improves their qualifications, generates a proactive attitude and new learning experiences, through Proyectos Integradores de Saberes and the accompaniment of their teachers, despite the difficulties of infrastructure and financial resources for research.
