Description

The present work of curricular integration has as a general objective to develop psychomotor skills in first-year students of Basic General Education of the Javier Loyola Educational Unit through recreational activities proposed in a didactic guide. For its development, it began with a participant observation process and an interview with the teacher in which it was identified that children from 6 to 7 years old presented difficulties in gross motor skills, fine motor skills, recognition of space and time, sensory abilities, problems that interfered with the acquisition of new learning. This diagnostic approach motivated the revision of the Comprehensive Basic Preparatory Education Curriculum that proposes the comprehensive development of students at this level, however, motor skills in the school context of study are reduced to gross and fine motor skills without giving greater attention to the other domains that contribute to psychomotor development, for this reason the proposal of the didactic guide with recreational activities.
