El Estado asumir? funciones que antes estaban en la familia extendida o en la comunidad, con los abogados, polic?as, trabajadores sociales, m?dicos, pediatras, etc. Sin embargo las cosas no suceden de manera natural, los cambios en la econom?a nos ayudan a entender muchos de los cambios lo mismo que rasgos de las culturas. No es cierto que el Estado nos dijo, c?sense con quien quieran, hagan el trabajo que quieran, vivan donde quieran, y no est?n obligados a ir a la cena familiar. Fueron las luchas sociales las que nos dieron estos derechos, las construcciones subjetivas las que impulsaron las culturas que permitieron tales conquistas y algunas pol?ticas. No tenemos educaci?n gratuita por la bondad de alg?n presidente, es porque los pueblos lucharon para conseguirlo.
