El análisis de la calidad del paisaje y de elementos de la fragilidad visual más la elaboración de un diagnóstico realizado mediante Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) para su procesamiento, permite el análisis e implementación de un modelo de intervención paisajística sustentable. El proceso se basa en optimizar el manejo y exploración de los elementos visuales básicos que componen el paisaje costero de la Bahía de Banderas en México para establecer bases a fin de identificar impactos territoriales y posibles medidas de conservación, restauración y minimización de alteraciones sobre el mismo. Se determinan las zonas de mayor potencialidad del paisaje e identifican las áreas de protección por sus valores ecológicos. A partir de esto, es viable desarrollar un modelo de evaluación con estrategias para posibles intervenciones paisajísticas sustentables mediante recomendaciones y buenas prácticas en la ocupación del territorio por parte del sector turístico y de las actividades generadas por ello.Palabras clave: áreas naturales, calidad del paisaje, fragilidad visual, territorio sustentable, zonas hoteleras.
The approach in this study is the analysis of the Quality of the Landscape and the elements of Visual Fragility based on a process and assessment using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), enabling the analysis and implementation of a Sustainable Model of Landscape Intervention. The process is based on the optimization of the treatment and exploration of basic visual elements of the coastal landscape, with the goal of establish groundwork for identification of territorial impacts and possible measures for the conservation, restoration and minimizing changes on it. The object of the analysis were the main elements of the visual quality of the landscape, such as the watershed and its visual fragility and the landscaping capacity; and thereby determine the areas of greatest potential in the landscape, as well as identify the protection areas on the ecological environment in the Bahía de Banderas, México. From that point on it is possible to develop an Evaluation and Strategic Model for potential actions that include Sustainable Landscape Interventions; and recommendations for good practices in the territory occupation by the tourism sector and the activities that generates.Keywords: hotel areas, natural areas, quality of landscape, sustainable territory, visual fragility.
