¿Enseñar a escribir en la universidad? La emergencia de la alfabetización académica

Description: Este artículo tiene el objetivo de plantear la discusión sobre la emergencia de la escritura académica en la universidad ecuatoriana. En un primer momento, abordaremos el estado del arte describiendo cómo las universidades latinoamericanas, europeas y norteamericanas han enfrentado esta problemática. Más tarde, analizaremos la situación de la escritura académica en la Universidad de Cuenca y, finalmente, daremos cuenta de dos respuestas que, desde la Facultad de Filosofía, hemos planteado para abrir el diálogo con el resto de facultades y universidades del país.
The aim of this paper is to elicit the discussion about the emergency that has been generated in the field of academic writing in the Ecuadorian University. As an initial approach, we will consider the state of the arts by describing the ways Latin-American, European and North-American universities have faced this problem. Afterwards, we will analyze the situation of academic writing at the University of Cuenca. Finally, we will give an account of two propositions from the Faculty of Philosophy in order to start a conversation with other faculties and universities of the country.
