Description

This research is focused on the contribution of green roofs to reduce GHG emissions associated with heating and cooling purposes of forty heritage buildings located in the eastern part of Collins Street in Melbourne's CBD. To answer this question it will be presented the benefits that green roofs provide in general aspects and more specifically to the improvement of thermal comfort by increasing insulation levels. Condition that represents an impact in the decrease of energy consumption associated with heating and cooling purposes on heritage buildings in Melbourne's CBD.
