Internal Combustion Engine vehicles consume daily enormous amounts of petroleum derivatives, aa result, the environmental degradation has increased in the industrialized world. Set in this contextnot only some global initiatives are concerned to the decarbonisation of the transport sector but alsothe proliferation of renewable energies have been factors that impulse the development of electricvehicle technologies. Some countries have started to replace conventional vehicles with electricvehicles due to fossil fuel limitations, and the results have been positive. Ecuador wants to be part this change, focusing on renewable and clean energies as main power supplies and electrical vehiclesas a primary transport modality as well.
