La energía fotovoltaica consiste en la transformación de la radiación solar en electricidad, ésta tecnología en los últimos años ha experimentado un enorme desarrollo contribuyendo a generar energía limpia sin impactar al medioambiente. Un edificio público es considerado un inmueble que tiene como fin acoger distintas actividades y reunir a la comunidad por la necesidad de interactuar, crecer y relacionarse, volviéndose éste parte de la identidad de su entorno, un claro ejemplo de ello es el municipio. Este tipo de equipamiento está destinado a cumplir actividades administrativas y brindar servicio a la comunidad local. El edificio del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Santa Isabel recibe a diario un alto flujo de personas que generan congestión y requiere de mantenimiento constante de sus instalaciones. Con el transcurso del tiempo y debido al crecimiento poblacional, las instalaciones del mismo resultan poco funcionales para el público y funcionarios municipales, lo que se reduce la comodidad y espacio para servir a las personas que hacen uso de este equipamiento. Fundamentado en lo ante dicho, se plantea el presente trabajo de titulación consiste en generar los estudios que sean necesarios para ampliar y remodelar el Palacio Municipal del cantón Santa Isabel, buscando satisfacer las necesidades de la comunidad en general; se incorpora un diseño innovador mediante el uso de tecnología solar invisible, esto se ejecutará por medio del sistema de energía fotovoltaica incorporada con tejas tradicionales que funcionan como panel solar y captan suficiente energía para el sistema de iluminación y ventilación artificial del edificio.
Photovoltaics is the transformation of solar radiation into electricity, this technology in recent years has experienced incredible development by contributing to produce clean energy without producing impact to the environment. A public building is considered a property that is designed to house different activities and organize the community by the necessity to interact, grow and be connected, becoming part of the identity of their environment, a clear example is the City Hall. This type of building is designed to carry out administrative activities and to provide assistance to the community. The building of the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of the Santa Isabel Canton receives daily a high flow of people who generate overcrowding and requires a continuous maintenance of its facilities. Over time and due to population growth, the same facilities are not very functional for the community and municipal officers, which reduces its comfort and space to people who attend and use this building. Based on the aforementioned, the current titling research is proposed to create the necessary studies to expand and modernize the City Hall of the Santa Isabel Canton, seeking to satisfy the needs of the community; incorporates an innovative design through the use of invisible solar technology, this will be implemented through photovoltaic energy system built with traditional tiles that operate as a solar panel and capture enough energy for ventilation and artificial illumination of the building.
