El presente caso expone la terapia pulpar en dientes deciduos con el uso de instrumentación mecanizada. Dentro de la terapia pulpar, la técnica de instrumentación mecanizada representa un gran avance y presenta varias ventajas en comparación con la técnica de instrumentación convencional, siendo más eficaz tanto en la disminución del tiempo de instrumentación, en la conformación de los conductos y en la obturación de los mismos. Además, disminuye la ansiedad del niño en la consulta, mejorando significativamente su nivel de colaboración y reduciendo la fatiga que puede presentar el odontólogo tratante. La instrumentación mecanizada ayuda a mejorar de manera significativa el desarrollo del tratamiento y a mejorar la relación clínico tratante, por esto nace la necesidad de que más odontólogos implementen este tipo de instrumentación en sus tratamientos. El resultado de los tratamientos de los casos expuestos depende del nivel de conocimiento, aplicación adecuada de la técnica de instrumentación mecanizada y del uso eficaz de los materiales e instrumentos requeridos en cada caso.
The present case describes pulp therapy in deciduous teeth using mechanized instrumentation. Within pulp therapy, the mechanized instrumentation technique represents a great advance and offers several advantages compared to the conventional instrumentation technique, as it is more efficient both in reducing instrumentation time, in the shaping of the canals, and in their obturation. In addition, it reduces the child's anxiety in the office, significantly improving his or her level of collaboration and reducing the fatigue that the treating dentist may experience. Mechanized instrumentation helps to improve the development of the treatment significantly and to ease the relationship between the treating clinician and the patient, which is why there is a need for more dentists to implement this type of instrumentation in their treatments. The results of the treatments of the cases presented depend on the level of knowledge, adequate application of the mechanized instrumentation technique, and effective use of the materials and instruments required in each case.
