El cantón Paute es conocido como uno de los cantones con mayor porcentaje de área verde por la cual es necesaria la recuperación de estos espacios públicos con la regeneración y construcción del mismo, motivo por el cual se realizará la intervención del Parque Granda Centeno ya que se encuentra en mal estado. El trabajo de investigación está desarrollado por tres capítulos. El primer capítulo tratará sobre el paisajismo el mismo que determinará las diferentes características, tipos y estudio de la calidad visual y fragilidad. El segundo capítulo se realizará un análisis general sobre el cantón Paute su tradiciones y cultura, se intervendrá en el área de estudio con el análisis de la calidad visual y fragilidad determinando el valor visual para el control de un estudio apto al momento de ejecutarlo. El tercer capítulo contiene la propuesta de intervención del espacio exterior y paisajístico en el anteproyecto del parque Granda Centeno. Es necesario considerar que los parques son espacios de recreación activa y pasiva donde los turistas y habitantes de la zona puedan disfrutar y cuidar del mismo.
