Degradación del arte colonial religioso por mala iluminación de la Iglesis de San Sebastián de la ciudad de Cuenca

La finalidad del presente trabajo investigativo es analizar si la iluminación existente de la iglesia de San Sebastián de la ciudad de Cuenca, produce degradación en el arte religioso. Para el estudio se realizaron mediciones de iluminancia, temperatura interna del ambiente, humedad al interior de la iglesia y en forma general magnitudes eléctricas que permitan obtener conclusiones de la hipótesis planteada, que servirán de base para la determinación de los factores degradantes en las obras de arte de la iglesia mencionada. \nCon los registros de las mediciones y el uso de tablas se forma una base de datos que permite verificar el estado actual y posteriormente simular el proyectado de la iluminación del templo y a su vez aportar con la mejor propuesta de iluminación para el mejoramiento del confort lumínico en el templo con niveles de iluminación normalizadas evitando el daño del arte religioso. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones y se destaca que el mayor factor degradante del arte religioso del templo es el monóxido de carbono (CO2) acumulado en las obras de arte y no la iluminación del mismo.
The purpose of this research work is to analyze whether the existing lighting of the church of San Sebastian in the city of Cuenca, produces degradation in religious art. For the study, measurements were made of iluminance, internal temperature of the environment, humidity inside the church and in general electrical magnitudes that allow conclusions to be draw from the proposed hypothesis, which will serve as a basis for the determination of the degrading factors in the works of art mentioned church. With the records of the measurements and the use of tables a database is formed that allows to verify the current state and later simulate the projected lighting of the temple and at the same time contribute with the best lighting proposal for the improvement of the lighting comfort in the temple with standardized lighting levels avoiding the damage of religious art. Finally, the conclusions are presented and it is emphasized that the biggest degrading factor of the religious art of the temple is the carbon monoxide (CO2) acumulated in the works of art and not the illumination of it.
