OBJETIVO: describir los factores que determinan el éxito del autotransplante dental .MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Se realizó una revisión de la literatura que consistió en la búsqueda de artículos científicos con el tema “factores que determinan el éxito del autotrasplante dental”, se realizó la búsqueda en bases de datos como Pubmed, Scielo, Scopus y Google Académico. Los criterios de inclusión utilizados fueron: artículos en inglés y español, artículos publicados desde al año 2015 hasta enero del año 2020. La búsqueda inicial arrojó un total de 189 artículos que mediante que aplicación de criterios de inclusión y exclusión se seleccionaron finalmente 20 artículos que se presentan en la bibliografía del presente proyecto investigativo. CONCLUSIONES: Los factores determinantes del éxito del autotrasplante dental son: condiciones del diente donante, condiciones del lecho receptor, experiencia del operador, duración del procedimiento quirúrgico, cuidados postoperatorios, adecuado tratamiento endodóntico y técnica de ferulización utilizada.

MATERIALS AND METHODS: A review of the literature was carried out which consisted of a search for scientific articles with the theme "factors that determine the success of dental self-transplant", the search was carried out in databases such as Pubmed, Scielo, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The inclusion criteria used were: articles in English and Spanish, articles published from 2015 to January 2020. The initial search yielded a total of 189 articles that through the application of inclusion and exclusion criteria were finally selected 20 articles that are presented in the bibliography of this research project. CONCLUSIONS: The determining factors for the success of dental self-transplant are: conditions of the donor's tooth, conditions of the receptor base, the experience of the operator, duration of the surgical procedure, postoperative care, adequate endodontic treatment, and splinting technique used.
