Frente a la necesidad de la Parroquia San Vicente de readecuar y mejorar las instalaciones del Cementerio del sector la Nube, para brindar un mejor servicio a sus habitantes, se plantea el presente trabajo de investigación y planificación en el Anteproyecto del Cementerio Jardín en la Parroquia. El Cementerio en la actualidad presenta problemas como la mala planificación y distribución de los diferentes espacios, tanto circulación, como los espacios verdes, y la incipiente planificación en la distribución de los nichos y espacios de enterramiento. El presente trabajo que a través de un convenio entre la Universidad Católica de Cuenca y el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Parroquial Rural de San Vicente, se pretende dar una solución mediante la reorganización de los distintos espacios generando zonas verdes y jardinerías, tomando la Arquitectura Paisajista como el eje rector en el diseño, obteniendo un Cementerio Jardín como producto final del trabajo, sin omitir los factores culturales, religiosos y de respeto a la naturaleza, además de tomar en cuenta las necesidades del GAD Parroquial de San Vicente y de sus habitantes.
Facing the need of the San Vicente Parish to adapt and improve the facilities of the cemetery in the sector La Nube, and to provide a better service to its inhabitants, the current research work and planning of a Preliminary Draft of a Garden Cemetery in the Parish. Currently the Cemetery presents problems such as poor planning and distribution of the different spaces, both for circulation, green spaces, and poor planning in the distribution of niches and burial spaces. This research work has been taken place through an agreement between the Catholic University of Cuenca and the Rural Autonomous Decentralized Government of the San Vicente Parish, to provide a solution by reorganizing the several spaces generating green areas and gardening, taking Landscape Architecture as the guiding axis in the design, obtaining a Garden Cemetery as final product of this research work, without omitting factors such as; cultural, religious and respect for nature, also considering the needs of the GAD of the San Vicente Parish and its inhabitants.
