OBJETIVO:''Determinar'la'prevalencia'de'ansiedad'al'tratamiento'odontológico'en' adultos'jóvenes'de'18'y'44'años'de'la'parroquia'Sayausí,'Cuenca'–'Ecuador'2017.' MATERIALES! Y! MÉTODOS:! el' estudio' fue' de' enfoque' cuantitativo,' de' diseño' descriptivo'y'de'nivel'de'investigación'descriptivoZ'el'tipo'de'investigación'fue'de'campo,' con'técnica'comunicacional'y'transversal,'para'ello'fue'necesario'la'utilización'de'la' encuesta'CORAH'DAS,'con'9'preguntas'guiadas'a'determinar'la'presencia'o'ausencia' de'Ansiedad'al'Tratamiento'Dental.'RESULTADOS:!Se'determinó'que'la'ansiedad' estuvo'presente'en'el'63%'de'adultos'jóvenes'de'18'y'44'años'de'la'parroquia'Sayausí,' Cuenca'–'Ecuador'2017.'La'mayor'parte'de'la'muestra'con'ansiedad'pertenecían'al' sexo'femenino.'Las'edades'más'representativas'estuvieron'comprendidas'entre'los'21' a'30'años,'seguida'de'los'31'a'40'años.'De'acuerdo'al'grupo'laboral,'la'mayor'parte'de' la'población'expuesta'presentó'ansiedad'al'tratamiento'odontológico.'CONCLUSIÓN:! Mediante'la'prueba'de'Chi2'de'Pearson'se'estableció'la'relación'entre'las'variables' estudiadas'y'la'ansiedad'dental.'

RESULTS:'It'was'determined'that'anxiety'was'present'in'63%'of'young'adults'18'and' 44'years'of'Sayausí'parish,'Cuenca'@'Ecuador'2017.'Most'of'the'sample'with'anxiety' belonged'to'the'female'sex.'The'most'representative'ages'were'between'21'to'30'years,' followed'by'31'to'40'years.'According'to'the'labor'group,'most'of'the'exposed'population' presented' anxiety' to' the' dental' treatment.' CONCLUSION:' Pearson's' Chi2' test' established'the'relationship'between'the'variables'studied'and'dental'anxiety.'
