Trabajo de grado académico sobre Psicología Industrial, Gestión de Personal, específicamente Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional. El objetivo fundamental es minimizar los riesgos existentes de trabajo mediante la estructuración de un reglamento interno de salud y seguridad industrial. El problema identificado: desconocimiento de riesgos laborales existentes en la Municipalidad de El Cantón El Chaco de la Provincia del Napo. La hipótesis dice: la implementación del reglamento interno de salud y seguridad industrial, disminuirá los riesgos de trabajo. Su fundamentación teórica se sustenta con el enfoque humanista de Chiavenato, cuyo principio es la Gestión de Talento Humano para minimizar riesgos propios al trabajo considerado las OSHAS; explicado en cuatro capítulos: Higiene Industrial, Salud y seguridad Ocupacional y Factores de riesgo. Investigación correlacional (riesgos laborales y desempeño) no experimental, con método inductivo-deductivo. Se ha seleccionado porcentualmente al setenta y cinco por ciento de una población total de doscientos cuarenta trabajadores; a los que se ha entrevistado para evaluar condiciones de trabajo, se ha diseñado y aplicado encuesta de opinión sobre la necesidad de implementar dicho reglamento y averiguar el desempeño laboral. Se prueba la hipótesis con el método de Fine, que evidencia dicha necesidad expresa por los trabajadores. Se recomienda ejecutar un plan de contingencia, a fin de evitar incidentes y accidentes.
