El sector de la construcción es uno de las actividades que ayuda al dinamismo económico del país. Según, el Banco Central de Ecuador, este sector alcanzó un crecimiento del 6% en el PIB (año 2014), tuvo un descenso del -0,23% (años 2015). Para el año actual, se está recuperando lentamente. Muchos de los negocios relacionados con el sector, se han visto afectado; entre ellos, ferreterías, carpinterías, cerrajerías, entre otros. La Parroquia de Pifo, está entrando en un dinamismo comercial porque está en el acceso al nuevo aeropuerto (Tababela). La ampliación de las vías de acceso va a generar que muchas personas opten por construir nuevas viviendas o remodelarlos. Considerando esta proyección y observando que la ferretería (Franquicia Disensa), no comercializa materiales sustitutos como: el cemento selva alegre, ripio, arena. Las dos ferreterías existentes son pequeñas; y, no venden este tipo de material. Además, los constructores deben acercarse a la Y de Puembo, Tumbaco (sector el Arenal) y Yaruquí a adquirir este tipo de materiales para la construcción. Con el estudio de mercado se determinó que si existe la necesidad de implementar este tipo de microempresa. Para aquello, se analizó la demanda, oferta y capacidad operativa. Con la ingeniería del proyecto, estructura organizacional; y, el análisis económico y financiero se concluyó que es factible introducirse en el mercado (Parroquia Pifo).
The construction sector is one of the activities that help the economic dynamism of the country. According to the Central Bank of Ecuador, this sector achieved a 6% growth in GDP (year 2014), had a decrease of -0.23% (year 2015). For the current year, it is slowly recovering. Many of the businesses related to the sector have been affected; among them, hardware stores, carpentries, locksmiths, among others. The parish of Pifo is entering a commercial dynamism because it is in the access to the new airport (Tababela). The expansion of access roads will lead to many people choosing to build or remodel new homes. Considering this projection and noting that the hardware store (Franchicia Disensa), does not commercialize substitute materials such as: the cement Selva Alegre, gravel, sand. While the 2 existing hardware stores are small; and do not sell this type of material. In addition, the builders should approach the Y area in Puembo, Tumbaco (Arenal sector) and Yaruquí to purchase this type of materials for construction. With the market study it was determined that if there is a need to implement this type of microenterprise. For that, the demand, supply and operational capacity were analyzed. The project engineering, organizational structure; and the economic and financial analysis concluded that it is feasible to enter the market (Pifo Parish).
