La administración por procesos tanto en las instituciones públicas como privadas es una herramienta de vital importancia ya que permite el mejoramiento continuo de los procesos que en estas se realiza con el fin de ofertar a la ciudadanía bienes y servicios de calidad que satisfagan sus necesidades de forma eficiente, cumpliendo así los objetivos de las instituciones; este trabajo de investigación tiene como intención mejorar el servicio en la Administración Zonal Eugenio Espejo en cuanto se refiere al proceso de solicitud del permiso de funcionamiento LUAE, para así optimizar al máximo tiempo y recursos de la institución y del usuario del servicio. Esta investigación fue realizada bajo el sistema de investigación cualitativa que permitió definir el diagnóstico de la situación actual, para así establecer los puntos de mejoramiento del servicio brindado.
Administration by processes in both public and private institution is a tool of vital importance because it allows the continuous improvement of the processes that are carried out in order to offer to the citizenship quality goods and services that satisfy their needs in a efficient way, thus fulfilling the aims of the institutions; This research work intends to improve the service in the Eugenio Espejo Zonal Administration as regards the application process for the LUAE operating permit, in order to optimize the maximum time and resources of the institution and the user of the service. This research was carried out under qualitative research system that allowed to define the diagnosis of the current situation, in order to establish the points of improvement of the service provided.
