Trascendencia histórica-cultural en la toma de la plaza de Cotacachi

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar en qué medida ha trascendido histórico-culturalmente la toma de la plaza. La investigación se realiza en las comunidades de Pilchibuela y Tunibamba del cantón Cotacachi, en la provincia de Imbabura. Se analizan de manera particular cuatro dimensiones: cosmovisión andina en Cotacachi, manifestaciones culturales, fiesta ancestral andina, elementos simbólicos. La población de estudio fue de ciento cincuenta comuneros indígenas y cuatro expertos en estudios interculturales; a los comuneros se les aplicó encuestas y a los expertos entrevistas. La investigación metodológica tiene un enfoque cuanti-cualitativo, es descriptiva, correlacional, con diseño no experimental por cuanto no hubo manipulación de variables, es una investigación de tipo bibliográfica. Con los resultados obtenidos, se determinó que dichas comunidades han logrado mantener dispositivos de memoria que contribuyan a preservar la historia de los pueblos andinos ampliando nuevos horizontes, por lo que en el imaginario colectivo pervive una filosofía disímil del mundo, al realizar estas manifestaciones culturales en la toma de la plaza se representa un espacio de cohesión social, irrumpiendo el poder político, social y económico ahí concentrado de esta manera retoman la importancia que las comunidades no sienten tenerla el resto del año.
This research aims to analyze to what extent the takeover of the square has historicallyculturally steered. The research is carried out in the communities of Pilchibuela and Tunibamba of the Cotacachi canton, in the Imbabura province. Four dimensions are analyzed in a particular way: Andean worldview in Cotacachi, cultural manifestations, Andean ancestral festival, symbolic elements. The study population was one hundred and fifty indigenous communes and four experts in intercultural studies; surveys were applied to the community and interviews to the experts. The methodological research has a quantitative approach, it is descriptive, correlational, with non-experimental design because there was no manipulation of variables, it is a bibliographic type research. With the results obtained, it was determined that these communities have managed to maintain memory devices that contribute to preserving the history of the Andean peoples by broadening new horizons, so that in the collective imagination lives a philosophy dissimilar of the world, by making these cultural manifestations in the taking over of the square, a space of social cohesion is represented, breaking into the political, social and economic power there, in this way they take up the importance that communities do not feel they have it the rest of the year.
