Trabajo de Titulación sobre Psicología Industrial, específicamente Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional. El objetivo fundamental probar como la implementación del Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional influye en la disminución de incidentes y accidentes laborales en PLASTIMEC. Basado en la legislación ecuatoriana (Decreto 2393) y en el enfoque de José María Cortés que define a la prevención como la “técnica de actuación sobre los peligros con el fin de suprimirlos y evitar sus consecuencias perjudiciales”, tratado en tres capítulos: Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional, Prevención de incidentes y accidentes laborales y Normativa Legal. Investigación no experimental con aplicación del método descriptivo, inductivo – deductivo y estadístico. En una población de treinta y cinco trabajadores se ha cuantificado y cualificado riesgos laborales con una matriz. Los resultados evidenciaron la comprobación de la Hipótesis, Con la recomendación de retroalimentar el Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional.
Research Study on Industrial Psychology, specifically about Occupational Health and Safety. The main objective is to valídate the implementation of the Safety and Health Occupational Bylaw and its influence in the decrease of working incidents and accidents in the PLASTIMEC. Investigación no experimental con aplicación del método descriptivo, inductivo - deductivo y estadístico. The theoretical explanation is based on Ecuadorian law (Decree 2393) and the approach of José María Cortes who defines prevention as "acting technique of the dangers in order to suppress them and prevent their harmful consequences" studied in three chapters: Occupational Safety and Health, Prevention of laboral incidents and accidents and Legal Policy. Experimental research with no applicalion of descriptive, inductive - deductive nor statistical methods. Health and Safety. In a total population of thirty five workers it has been quantified and qualifies the laboral risks with a matrix. The results evidenced the Hypothesis approval, after the implementation and socialization of the Safety and Health By-laws meet the objectives. With the recommendation of giving feedback of the regulation.
