El presente trabajo propone un plan de mejora en la gestión de crédito y cobranza en base a las deficiencias que presenta actualmente la empresa TEVIASA TELECOMUNICACIONES S.C.C, proponiendo políticas de crédito, lineamientos a seguir para otorgar el crédito y políticas de cobro que al ser aplicadas permitan disminuir la cantidad de cuentas incobrables, ya que el área antes mencionada es muy importante dentro de la empresa debido a que la mayoría de prestaciones de servicio son realizadas a crédito. Por lo tanto también es importante definir las personas que trabajaran en el área y las funciones que deben cumplir para que sepan de qué actividades son responsables, con el fin de lograr los objetivos planteados de manera que se minimice la morosidad de los clientes y se recupere de manera más rápida las cuentas pendientes.
The present work proposes an improvement plan in the management of credit and collection based on the deficiencies which currently has the company TEVIASA TELECOMUNICACIONES S.C.C, proposing credit policies, guidelines to follow in order to give credit and policies of collection. These changes in the company will allow decreasing the quantity of uncollectible accounts, as the area mentioned above is very important in the company because the majority of benefits of service are made on credit. Because of that reason, it is important to define the people who will work in this area and the functions which they must carry out so they know which activities are they responsible for, in order to accomplish the planted objectives in a way in which the arrearage of the customers is minimized and also to recover in a faster way the outstanding accounts.
