El presente proyecto de investigación fue realizado con el afán de determinar el uso que se da a la poesía infantil en el desarrollo del lenguaje verbal en los niños y niñas de Primer Año de Educación General Básica en la Unidad Educativa Alexander Eiffel de la ciudad de Quito, para este proyecto se tomó en cuenta a una población de 47 niños y niñas y 2 docentes , empleando como método de investigación el método cualitativo con el apoyo de instrumentos tales como la entrevista y la ficha de observación; los cuales al ser tabulados nos proporciona una serie de datos de gran importancia para proponer como producto de esta investigación una guía de actividades para el desarrollo del lenguaje oral que será de gran utilidad para las y los educadores de primer año de básica; para que esta investigación tenga validez nos apoyamos de una investigación bibliográfica básica y de gran interés que permite entender la importancia de aplicar la poesía infantil en el desarrollo del lenguaje oral.
The current research project was aimed to determine the use given to infantile poetry in the development of oral language in children of the first year of General Basic Education in the UnidadEducativa Alexander Eiffel in Quito city. For the project, a population of 47 children and 2 teachers was enrolled, by using the qualitative method as research method with the support of instruments, such as the interview and the observation data card. When such data were tabulated, as a result of our research, a series of very important data were derived from it and were used to propose an activity guide for the development of the oral language, which will be useful for every educators of the first year of basic education. For the validity of such research, we revised a basic and interesting bibliographic investigation intended to understand the relevance of applying the infantile poetry to the development of the oral language.
