En la Facultad de Ciencias Agrícolas de la Universidad Central del Ecuador, se evaluaron Bioestimulates: b1 (Organic Mix), b2 (Newfol Plus) y b3 (Biol enriquecido con micronutrientes) y dosis, d1 (Dosis baja, 25% menos que la dosis recomendada), d2 (Dosis media, dosis recomendada) y d3 (Dosis alta, 25 % más que la dosis recomendada) en la fertilización foliar complementaria en fréjol Caraota. Se utilizó un DBCA con un arreglo factorial de 3 x 3 + 2 con cuatro repeticiones. El Biol enriquecido con micronutrientes obtuvo la mejor respuesta en las variables: Altura de planta, Número de vainas por planta, Peso de 100 granos y Rendimiento; Newfol Plus en: Tamaño de la vaina, Número de granos por vaina. La Dosis Media alcanzó mejor respuesta en las variables: Número de vainas por planta, Peso de 100 granos y Rendimiento; la Dosis alta en: Tamaño de la vaina y Número de granos por vaina. La mejor respuesta para Altura de planta se obtuvo con la Dosis baja.
At the School of Agricultural Sciences of the “Universidad Central del Ecuador”, Bio-stimulants: b1 (Organic Mix), b2 (Newfol Plus) and b3 (micronutrient enriched Liquid Organic Fertilizer) were evaluated along with doses, d1 (Low dose, 25% less that the recommended amount), d2 (Medium dose, recommended amount) and d3 (High dose, 25 % more than the recommended amount) during the complementary foliar fertilization of Caraota kidney beans. A Random Block Design was used with a factor arrangement of 3 x 3 + 2 with four repetitions. The micronutrient enriched Liquid Organic Fertilizer presented the best results regarding the variables: Plant height, Number of pods per plant, Weight of 100 grains and Yield; Newfol Plus regarding: Pod size, Number of grains per pod. The Medium Dose reached a better result regarding the variables: Number of pods per plant, Weight of 100 grains and Yield; the High Dose regarding: Pod size and Number of grains per pod. The best results for plant height were obtained using the Low Dose.
