La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo establecer un sistema de control de los inventarios para la empresa Confecciones Gretty de la ciudad de Atuntaqui, misma que permitió disminuir los costos de la empresa. Para ello la investigación se estructuro mediante el desarrollo de la fundamentación teórica con temas de lo que es inventarios, los costos asociados a estos, gestión, métodos, toma de decisiones, los modelos de inventarios, entre otros. Se sustentó con un diagnóstico en el que se analiza el entorno de la industria textil, hasta el análisis de la misma empresa. Con esta base, se presentó una propuesta en la que se analiza cómo se maneja los inventarios en Confecciones Gretty y de ello se realizado una propuesta de clasificación de inventarios mediante el modelo ABC, mismo que permitió enfocarse al stock con mayor volumen y con ello optimizar los recursos, así mismo se planteó un modelo de inventarios de demanda fija y para comercialización, que de acuerdo a los cálculos realizados, se pudo verificar que en promedio se podrá disminuir hasta alrededor de un 52% en los costos directos de hacer pedidos y mantener inventarios, ámbito que justifica plenamente la presente investigación y propuesta en favor de la empresa, su organización y rentabilidad.
The present investigation has had as objective to establish a system of control of the inventories for the company Confecciones of the city of Atuntaqui, at the same time as it must diminish the costs of the company. For this, the research was structured through the development of the theoretical foundation with the subjects that inventories, the costs associated with these, the management, the methods, the decision making, the inventory models, among others. It was based on a diagnosis in which the environment of the textile industry is analyzed, up to the analysis of the same company. Based on this, we have presented a proposal that analyzes how inventories are handled in Confecciones and has made a proposal to classify inventories using the ABC model, which must focus on the action with the greatest volume and thus optimize The resources, likewise, a model of inventories of the demand and the commercialization was proposed, the agreement of the realized calculations, could be established the average of the costs. inventories, an area that fully justifies the present investigation and proposal in favor of the company, its organization and profitability.
