El trabajo sobre los organizadores gráficos en el proceso de enseñanza en al área de Ciencias Sociales para los estudiantes de noveno año de educación general básica del Colegio Juan Montalvo de la ciudad de Quito, en el año lectivo 2012-2013. Se trata de un trabajo de investigación, el autor recogió datos a docentes y estudiantes donde manifiestan la importancia del uso de esta herramienta pedagógica dentro del proceso de enseñanza en el área de Ciencias Sociales. Los organizadores gráficos tienen como objetivo fundamental despertar el interés y motivar al estudiante a que mejore su aprendizaje de las Ciencias Sociales, entregar al docente un manual donde detallan como se elaboran, cuáles son las características, estructura, ventajas y desventajas de un organizador gráfico y cuando aplicarlos para la asignatura de las Ciencias Sociales y desarrollar habilidades en el estudiante como la criticidad, creatividad , organización, facilidad para sintetizar las ideas principales de un contenido y luego estructurarlos, analizar el contenido con el fin que ellos mismo construyan su propio conocimiento. Entregar esta herramienta al estudiante para que siga construyendo su propio conocimiento.
Work on graphic organizers in the teaching process in the area of Social Sciences for students in ninth year of basic general education of the Juan Montalvo School in the city of Quito, school year 2012-2013. This is a research paper, the author collected data to teachers and students which demonstrate the importance of using this educational tool in the teaching process in the area of Social Sciences. Graphic organizers have as fundamental aim to arouse interest and motivate students to improve their learning of social sciences, give the teacher a guide which details how it‟s made , what are the characteristics, structure, advantages and disadvantages of a graphic organizer and when applying for the subject of Social Sciences and develop skills in student as criticality, creativity, organization, ability to synthesize the main ideas of a content and then structure them, analyze the content in order that they themselves construct their own knowledge. Give this tool a student to continue building their own knowledge.
