Evaluación de la microfiltración apical utilizando diferentes técnicas de obturación : revisión sistemática.

INTRODUCCIÓN: La obturación es el llenado tridimensional del sistema de conductos radiculares, es un paso fundamental para realizar un buen sellado disminuyendo el riesgo a la microfiltración. OBJETIVO: Valorar la efectividad de la microfiltración apical usando diferentes técnicas de obturación mediante una revisión de literatura. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Estudio de investigación cualitativo, descriptivo no experimental de corte transversal- retrospectivo, con una muestra de 30 artículos de las cuales se observó un universo de 315 artículos. Los mismos que fueron revisados y analizados según los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. RESULTADOS: La técnica termoplástica más utilizada fue Ultrafil, el cemento a base de resina fue el más utilizado en un 56% y el de menor uso fue a base de hidróxido de calcio en un 10%. La técnica de instrumentación más utilizadas fue Step back y Protaper universal, en medición con tinción la más usada fue azul de metileno al 2%. CONCLUSIONES: Se observó dentro de toda la búsqueda de los artículos que no existe una diferencia significativa entre las 2 técnicas de obturación.
INTRODUCTION: Obturation is the three-dimensional filling of the root canal system, it is a fundamental step to make a good seal, reducing the risk of microfiltration. OBJECTIVE: To assess the effectiveness of apical microfiltration using different obturation techniques through a literature review. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A qualitative, descriptive, non-experimental cross-sectional-retrospective research study, with a sample of 30 articles, of which a universe of 315 articles was observed. The same ones that were reviewed and analyzed according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. RESULTS: The most used thermoplastic technique was Ultrafil, the resin-based cement was the most used in 56% and the least used was calcium hydroxide-based in 10%. The most used instrumentation technique was Step back and Universal Protaper, in measurement with stain the most used was methylene blue at 2%. CONCLUSIONS: It was observed within the whole search of the articles that there is not a significant difference between the 2 techniques of obturation.
