El desarrollo de este trabajo, a pesar de ser corto, involucra un análisis profundo sobre la figura jurídica del abandono, los cambios que ha tenido con la nueva normativa, hoy en vigencia, el Código Orgánico General de Procesos, su historia en el tiempo, las diferencias que ha llegado a tener con otros países y con la norma anterior, el Código de Procedimiento Civil, y los efectos que puede llegar a causar. De igual manera este desarrollo también contiene antecedentes del abandono, tanto de su evolución histórica, como de su estudio e interpretación en la doctrina. Dado el cambio de esta figura institucional también, se precisa de qué manera altera las consecuencias que tiene y a las cuales en nuestro país ya estábamos acostumbrados, por ende las repercusiones que puede causar a varios derechos, como al debido proceso. Es menester mencionar que las opiniones dadas son personales, pero de la misma manera guardan conexión con nuestro ordenamiento jurídico.
The development of this work, despite of being brief, involves an in-depth analysis of the legal concept of abandonment, the changes it has had with the new regulations, now in force, the General Organic Code of Processes, its history in time, the differences that it has come to have with other countries and with the previous norm, the Code of Civil Procedure, and the effects that it can cause. Likewise, this development also contains a history of abandonment, both of its historical evolution, and of its study and interpretation in the doctrine. Given the change in this institutional figure, it is also necessary to know how it alters the consequences it has and which in our country we are already accustomed to, therefore the repercussions it can cause to numerous rights, such as due process. It is necessary to mention that the opinions given are personal, but in the same way they are connected with our legal system.
