Influencia de la responsabilidad social empresarial en la competitividad del sector cartonero de la provincia del Guayas.

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue el de analizar la aplicación de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y su relación con la competitividad en las 5 empresas del sector cartonero de la provincia del Guayas a través de métodos estadísticos para evidenciar la situación actual. En cuanto a la metodología implementada se estableció un diseño no experimental y descriptivo de corte no transversal. La presente investigación se centró en analizar a las empresas cartoneras de la provincia del Guayas, siendo esta la provincia reúne la mayor cantidad de empresas del sector y las que generan mayor aporte al PIB genera. Se seleccionaron 5 empresas del sector cartonero (PROCARSA, CARTOPEL, GRUPASA, Industria Cartonera Ecuatoriana S.A, CARTORAMA C.A). La investigación determinó un índice de RSE y un indicador promedio de competitividad, los cuales permitieron realizar un análisis de correlación para evaluar la existencia de una relación entre estas variables. Se concluyó que en el sector cartonero existe una relación positiva entre la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial e indicadores de competitividad.
The objective of this research was to analyze the application of Corporate Social Responsibility and its relationship with competitiveness in companies in the cardboard sector in the province of Guayas through statistical methods to demonstrate the current situation. Regarding the implemented methodology, the non-experimental one is established with a quantitative approach to the study. Additional has a correlational and descriptive meaning. For the realization of this research work, information sources were used: primary and secondary. The present investigation focused on analyzing the cardboard companies in the province of Guayas, a province that brings together the companies in the sector that contributes the most to GDP, in addition to being the province that brings together the largest number of companies in the sector. Five companies from the cardboard sector were selected (PROCARSA, CARTOPEL, GRUPASA, Industria Cartonera Ecuatoriana S.A, CARTORAMA.A), which represents its entirety in the Guayas location, which will be the sample for the descriptive-correlational analysis of the research. It was concluded that of 100% of the companies surveyed, the majority with 80% assure that there is a medium advance in the turnover rate.
