Uno de los episodios de tecnología más destacados de los últimos años ha sido el gradual interés por los tókenes no fungibles, considerado como el último grito en el mundo de los registros distribuidos y las criptomonedas. Esta innovadora tecnología ha entrado con paso fuerte en el mundo del arte y la tecnología. Estos activos están habilitados para blockchain que representan la prueba de propiedad de los objetos digitales. Muchos de los empresarios de la industria creativa han sido pioneros en el uso de NFT y han buscado generar nuevas fuentes deingresos y modos de participación de las partes interesadas. A pesar del rápido crecimiento en popularidad, se han planteado preocupaciones sobre la propiedad legal de los activos NFT y la prevalencia de la especulación y el fraude asociados con el comercio de NFT. En este trabajo, exploramos el valor del sistema de los NFT para la industria creativa. Primero, examinaremos el ¿qué es? y su funcionamiento; en segundo lugar, analizaremos los obstáculos presentados por el sistema de Nfts y las posibilidades digitales novedosas de esta tecnología como apoyo para el desarrollo de la propiedad intelectual sobre el mundo digital y finalmente, se tomará una perspectiva para considerar los Nfts como una oportunidad de expansión de la gestión colectiva.
One of the most remarkable technology episodes of the last few years has been the gradual interest in non-fungible tokens, considered to be the latest craze in the world of distributed registries and cryptocurrencies. This innovative technology has made a strong entry into the world of art and technology. These assets are blockchain enabled which represent proof of ownership of digital objects. Many of the creative industry entrepreneurs have pioneered the use of NFT and have sought to generate new revenue streams and modes of stakeholder engagement. Despite the rapid growth in popularity, concerns have been raised about the legal ownership of NFT assets and the prevalence of speculation and fraud associated with NFT trading. In this paper, we explore the value of the NFT system to the creative industry. First, we will examine the what is it and how it works; second, we will analyze the obstacles presented by the Nfts system and the novel digital possibilities of this technology as a support for the development of intellectual property over the digital world; and finally, a perspective will be taken to consider Nfts as an opportunity for the expansion of collective management.
