Para una madre, su hijo es lo más importante, ya sea porque la complementa y la hace sentir completa, o porque hay una unión entre ellos que va más allá de cualquier otro tipo de relación. Para un hijo, su madre representa todo: el amor, el cariño, la protección, y también la autoridad en caso de ser necesario. Juntos son fuertes, felices e inseparables, y no quisieran que algo los distancie; sin embargo, siempre será indispensable la presencia de un padre o de alguien más que pueda mediar esta dualidad. Lo esperable es que en una familia puedan convivir las tres partes (padre, madre e hijo) de manera armónica, pero cuando a un hijo no se le han instaurado límites entre él y su madre, es probable que se configure subjetivamente una estructura psicótica. Esto se evidencia en el análisis del caso presentado en este trabajo, cuya idea central radica en el lugar que el hijo psicótico ocupa en la vida de la madre y cómo esto afectó no solo al círculo familiar sino también a todos quienes los rodeaban.
For a mother, her child is the most important, either because she supplements her and makes her feel complete, or because there is a union between them that goes beyond any other kind of relationship. For a son, his mother represents everything: love, affection, protection, and authority if necessary. Together they are strong, happy and inseparable, and do not want something to distance them; However, the presence of a parent or someone else who can mediate this duality will always be indispensable. What is expected is that in a family can coexist the three parts (father, mother and son) in a harmonious way, but when a child has not been established limits between him and his mother, it is likely to be subjectively set up a psychotic structure. This is evident in the analysis of the case presented in this work, whose central idea lies in the place that the psychotic son occupies in the life of the mother and how this affected not only the family circle but also all those around them.
