El documento a continuación es producto de una investigación académica cuyo objetivo es proporcionar información de dos dimensiones específicas del cine de acuerdo con el desarrollo del director ecuatoriano Sebastián Cordero la estética y la técnica como un aporte a la formación de futuros proyectos cinematográficos que requieren de una guía práctica con finalidades semejantes. Este estudio analiza la técnica de la dirección de Fotografía y la estética del cine que Sebastián Cordero desarrolló durante el periodo de 1999 hasta el 2011. Se reseña los orígenes del cine ecuatoriano a cuenta de tener fundamentos que orienten a la compresión artística de la puesta en escena, la temática y la apariencia del cine que presentan las películas como productos exhibidos. El aspecto metodológico de este documento describe sus técnicas e instrumentos que desde una perspectiva cualitativa son empleados para la recolección de datos los cuales fueron sistematizados y analizados para su interpretación. Las conclusiones se establecen por etapas de ejecución del proyecto y la evidencia del proceso se encontrará hacia el final del escrito junto con las referencias, que son sustento de esta investigación.
The document below is the product of an academic research whose objective is to provide information on two specific dimensions of cinema according to the development in Sebastian Cordero´s filmography: aesthetics and technique as a contribution to the formation of future film projects that require a practical guide with similar purposes. This study analyzes the technique of the direction of Photography and the aesthetics of cinema that Sebastián Cordero developed during the period from 1999 to 2011. The origins of the Ecuadorian cinema are reviewed in order to have foundations that guide the artistic understanding of the staging, the theme and the appearance of the cinema that the films present as exhibited products. The methodological aspect of this document describes its techniques and instruments from a qualitative perspective and are used for data collection which were systematized and analyzed for their interpretation. The conclusions are established by stages of project execution and the evidence of the process will be found towards the end of the writing along with the references, which are the basis of this investigation.
