El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad evidenciar el crecimiento de la ciberviolencia de género en el Ecuador, y como la falta de efectividad de la normativa a dejado a las mujeres indefensas ante este tipo de agresiones en especial respecto a la problemática que se vive día a día, en un mundo cada vez mas amplio, como es el mundo digital. Este trabajo, se realizó aplicando una investigación de tipo cualitativa, usando la metodología exploratoria mediante el estudio de dos casos. Estos casos nos ayudaran a evidenciar los vacíos que tiene la normativa ecuatoriana, en torno a este tema que genera tanta polémica y problemas de índole social. Se realizó una investigación empírica, que, por medio de entrevistas realizadas a mujeres, entre los 15 a 30 años, quienes al dar su punto de vista respecto, de cómo ven el manejo de redes sociales, y el mal uso que se le puede dar al ser usados de manera irresponsable e ilícita.
The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the growth of gender cyberviolence in Ecuador, and how this leaves the legal right unprotected in some cases, due to its lack of efficacy in the regulations regarding the problems that are experienced day by day, in an increasingly broader world, such as the digital world. This work was carried out applying a qualitative type of research, using the exploratory methodology through the study of two cases. These cases will help us to demonstrate the gaps that Ecuadorian regulations have, around this issue that generates so much controversy and problems of a social nature. An empirical investigation was carried out, which, through interviews with women, between the ages of 15 and 30, who, when giving their point of view regarding, how they see the management of social networks, and the misuse that can be given to them when used irresponsibly and illegally.
