ResumenEl presente proyecto consiste en la propuesta arquitectònica de un Edificio de Residencias estudiantil,ubicado dicho proyecto dentro del campus de la Universidad Polotecnica del Litoral, Espol. Se proponeun edificio que de acceso desde un espacio pùblico, ubicado frente a un lago y que vincule al usuariocon el mismo. Ademas se plantean mòdulos habitacionales para estudiantes y docentes extranjeros,dicho se desarrolla atraves de espacios comunes que permitan la relaciòn multicultural y el encuentrosocial. El proyecto cuenta con 2 programas arquitectònicos diferentes: Residencial y administrativo porlo que se propone realizar 4 volumenes fragmentados relacionados entre ellos por medio de plazas deingreso, que seran las raíces del mismo. El proyecto se distribuye de manera que los espacios masprivados se ubican en la parte mas alta del terreno y lo mas pùblico en la parte trasera, intermedia ydelantera de los volúmenes conformado por parque, plaza y malecón. El edificio busca lograr generarla sensaciòn de bievendida y que al mismo tiempo permita la relacion desde inicio a fin con lo natural ylo artificial.
This project consists of the architectural proposal for a Student Residence Building, located in the campus of the Polytechnic University of the Coast, Espol. If you propose a building accessible from a public space, located in front of a lake and that links the user with it. In addition, housing modules for foreign students and teachers are proposed, this is developed through common spaces that affect the multicultural relationship and the social encounter. The project has 2 different architectural programs: Residential and administrative, so it is proposed to make 4 fragmented volumes related to each other through entrance squares, which will be the roots of it. The project is distributed in such a way that the most private spaces are located in the highest part of the land and the most public in the rear, intermediate and front of the volumes made up of park, plaza and boardwalk. The building seeks to achieve the sensation of bievendida and at the same time allow the relationship from the beginning to the end with the natural and the artificial.
