El presente trabajo se realiza una investigación de mercado de una finca cacaotera para diseñar un producto agroturístico que sea de aporte para la economía local, generados de empleo local y contacto con la naturaleza para los turistas que visiten el lugar. Existen varias fincas, haciendas que cuentan con amplios espacios para realizar la actividad turística, sin embargo, esto no se ve aprovechado ya que la población de la provincia de Los Ríos se dedica en su mayoría a la agricultura como fuente de ingresos y no ven el turismo como otra opción viable. Por ello en el trabajo se investigó de las necesidades de las personas al visitar una hacienda o salir de la rutina y Finca Ronquillo Rivera cuenta con los potenciales para desarrollarse como un espacio turístico, aprendiendo de los procesos del cacao, mango y cuidado de los animales. En el primer capítulo se desarrollan teorías referentes al turismo rural y agroturismo, seguido de ello se presenta una investigación de mercado, para finalmente dar a conocer la propuesta de diseño de producto turístico.
The present work is carried out a market investigation of a cocoa farm to design an agrotourism product that is a contribution to the local economy, generates local employment and contact with nature for tourists who visit the place. There are several farms, haciendas that have ample spaces to carry out tourist activity, however, this is not being used since the population of the province of Los Ríos is dedicated mostly to agriculture as a source of income and they do not see the tourism as another viable option. For this reason, the work investigated the needs of people when visiting a farm or leaving the routine and Finca Ronquillo Rivera has the potential to develop as a tourist space, learning about the processes of cocoa, mango and animal care. . In the first chapter, theories regarding rural tourism and agrotourism are developed, followed by market research, to finally present the proposal for the design of a tourism product.
