La finalidad del presente trabajo de titulación es crear una base de datos digital georreferenciada mediante el sistema de información geográfica, con la ayuda de un estudio de campo, en la cual se evalúan a las edificaciones existentes en las diferentes zonas de estudio del sur de Guayaquil, utilizando el formulario de detección visual rápida de vulnerabilidad sísmica para edificaciones con base al FEMA-154, permitiendo saber la tipología estructural y el grado de vulnerabilidad ante eventos sísmicos, para luego poder relacionarlas con curvas de fragilidad existentes propuestas por otros autores bajo normativas extranjeras. Esta relación posibilita entender su comportamiento y así generar planes de contingencia en caso de eventos caóticos, intervenir en viviendas de alto riesgo y establecer soluciones que permitan disminuir la falta de criterio al momento de realizar una construcción, para lograr tener una ciudad con edificaciones seguras y duraderas que cumplan con criterios estructurales y normativas vigentes.
The purpose of this degree work is to create a georeferenced digital database through the geographic information system with the help of a field study, in which the existing buildings in the different study areas of southern Guayaquil are evaluated. All of these using the rapid visual detection form of seismic vulnerability for buildings, based on FEMA-154, allowing to know the structural typology and the degree of vulnerability before seismic events and then be able to relate them to existing fragility curves, proposed by other authors under foreign regulations. This relationship makes it possible to understand their behavior and thus generate contingency plans in case of chaotic events, intervene in high-risk homes and establish solutions that reduce the lack of criteria when carrying out a construction, in order to have a city with safe buildings that meet the actual and valid structural criteria regulations.
