Esta investigación fue realizada en el semestre A-2017 (mayo- septiembre) de la carrera de Música de la Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil. El motivo principal de este trabajo fue crear una composición y un arreglo musical en base a los temas “Desire” y “Now or Never” de Hiromi Uehara para lograr una sonoridad diferente al jazz tradicional y más acercado al jazz fusión. Para realizar esta investigación se analizaron los recursos musicales y de ejecución de estos dos temas, llevando a cabo las transcripciones de los mismos para delimitar qué técnicas se usaron específicamente y usarlas en la composición del tema inédito. Esta investigación logró que la producción de música jazz fusión aumente en el país ya que se grabó la composición “Los cambios que parecen cambios de tiempo pero no son cambios de tiempo” y se masterizó en la ciudad de Guayaquil en los estudios de Humberto Zamora Hum60HZ.
This research was carried out in the semester A-2017 (May-September) of the Music career of the Catholic University Santiago of Guayaquil. The main reason for this work was to create a composition and a musical arrangement based on the themes "Desire" and "Now or Never" by Hiromi Uehara to achieve a different sonority to traditional jazz and closer to jazz fusion. To carry out this research the musical resources and the execution of these two themes were analyzed, carrying out the transcriptions of the same ones to delimit what techniques were used specifically and to use them in the composition of the unpublished subject. This research achieved that the production of jazz fusion music increased in the country since the composition was recorded "The changes that seem changes of time but are not changes of time" and was masterized in the city of Guayaquil in the studies of Humberto Zamora Hum60HZ.
