Repercusiones del acogimiento institucional indefinido de niños, niñas y adolescentes en las Instituciones Públicas del Ecuador.

El Estado ecuatoriano, al ser considerado como el primer país en Latinoamérica y el tercero a nivel mundial en ratificar en el año 1990 la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño, es el encargado de velar por los derechos e intereses de los Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes, quienes son considerados un grupo de atención prioritaria; creando modalidades alternativas para su protección. Colocando a la familia como el núcleo de la sociedad, el cual es considerado como el medio idóneo y componente fundamental para el crecimiento y bienestar de un ser humano. Las medidas alternativas que busca el estado a través del Ministerio de Inclusión Económica y Social son las siguientes: El Acogimiento Institucional, el Acogimiento Familiar y, por último, la Institución de la Adopción. Proponiendo prever la continua vulneración de derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, señalando al Acogimiento Familiar, como el mecanismo adecuado para respetar el Derecho a la Convivencia Familiar.
The Ecuadorian State, being considered as the first country in Latin America and the third in the world to ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990, is responsible for ensuring the rights and interests of children and adolescents who are considered a priority care group; creating alternative modalities for their protection. Placing the family as the core of society, which is regarded as the ideal medium and fundamental component for the growth and well-being of a human being. The alternative measures that the state seeks through the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion are as follows: The Institutional Acceptance, the Family Acceptance and, finally, the Institution of Adoption. Proposing to foresee the continued violation of rights of children and adolescents, pointing to the Family Welcome, as the appropriate mechanism for respecting the Right to Family Cohabitation.
