The present work has as aim realize an analysis about commercial relations between Ecuador and Venezuela during the period 2003 2009, in this period Its necessary to take in it counts the political changes that has happened in Ecuador from the year 2007 with the arrival to the presidency of Rafael Correa. From this date it is important to understand how the political approximation between the Ecuadoran president Rafael Correa and the Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez has influenced in the variation of the commercial relations between Ecuador and Venezuela, taking in it counts the political and ideological affinity of both presidents and the similarity in his model of government. During the government of Rafael Correa has been established in Ecuador a new model of economic and social development called “Socialism of the 21st century” initially proposed by the Venezuelan government following the trend. The political approximation between Rafael Correa and Hugo Chávez has allowed the increase of the commercial relations between Ecuador and Venezuela on common projects, in areas of energetic cooperation, of mining industry, tourism, agriculture and others...
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis de las relaciones comerciales entre Ecuador y Venezuela durante el periodo 2003–2009, tomando en cuenta los cambios políticos ocurridos en el Ecuador a partir del año 2007 con la llegada a la presidencia del economista Rafael Correa. A partir de esta fecha se busca entender si el acercamiento político entre el presidente ecuatoriano Rafael Correa y el presidente venezolano Hugo Chávez ha influido en la variación de las relaciones comerciales entre Ecuador y Venezuela, tomando en cuenta la afinidad política e ideológica de ambos mandatarios y la similitud en su modelo de gobierno. Con el gobierno de Rafael Correa se establece en el Ecuador el “Socialismo del siglo XXI” como modelo de desarrollo económico y social siguiendo la tendencia propuesta por el gobierno venezolano. El acercamiento político entre Rafael Correa y Hugo Chávez ha permitido el incremento de las relaciones comerciales entre Ecuador y Venezuela a través de proyectos comunes, en áreas de cooperación energética, de minería, turismo, agricultura y otras...
