This research project seeks to clarify the totalitarian regimen implemented in North Korea. This analysis shall be developed through the application of two different theories that have been divided into two sections. The first theory is Social Engineering, which shall be explained with the idea of a perfect society and the State as a social engineer. The second theory, Chaos and Political Repression, is explained by the chaos theory, as an antecedent for the totalitarian regimen, and the use of violence as a mechanism for social repression. Both theories have been applied to the cases of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Nazi Germany, in order to stablish a pattern that seeks to explain how a totalitarian regime accomplishes to obtain the power of the State. In this way, we try to compare North Korea and the other two historical examples, in order to demonstrate the way in which the stablished pattern, by these two theories, can be applied in the North Korean totalitarian regime and in this way understand this regime better and define if this pattern is applicable to other totalitarian regimes or even on other government models.
Este trabajo de investigación busca principalmente dar una imagen clara del régimen totalitario instaurado en Corea del Norte. Este análisis se realizará por medio de la aplicación de dos teorías que han sido divididas en dos secciones cada una. La primera es la Ingeniería Social, la cual se explica por medio de la idea de una sociedad perfecta y del Estado como un ente modelador. La segunda teoría es Caos y Represión Política, la cual se explica mediante la teoría del caos, como un antecedente al régimen totalitario y el uso de violencia como un mecanismo de represión social. Ambas teorías se han aplicado a los casos de la ex Unión de Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas y la Alemania Nazi, para de este modo lograr establecer un patrón que busca explicar cómo llega un régimen totalitario al poder del Estado y sus mecanismos violentos utilizados para estos fines. De esta forma, más adelante se realiza una comparación con Corea del Norte y los otros dos ejemplos históricos para poder demostrar la forma en la que este patrón establecido por estas dos teorías, se puede aplicar en el caso de totalitarismo de Corea del Norte y de este modo lograr entender mejor a este régimen y asimismo determinar si este patrón podría ser aplicado en otros casos de totalitarismo o incluso de otras formas de gobierno.
