The following business plan seeks to prove the viability of creating an enterprise able to produce and export macadamia nuts covered with chocolate to Canadian market. In order to achieve this, Marketing tools such as market research and market intelligence were used, collecting primary data and searching and analyzing secondary data, all this to understand consumers needs and demands in the foreign country. The results of the investigation shown favorably acceptance of the product at the same time that presented requirements and entry barriers to enter the market. To continue, the business opportunity and the projection of the Marketing Plan were both verify through a finance evaluation. In the end, it comes as a conclusion the feasibility of executing the project.
El presente plan de negocios busca comprobar la viabilidad de crear una empresa productora y exportadora de macadamia con chocolate al mercado canadiense. Para este fin se utilizaron herramientas de Marketing como investigación e inteligencia de mercado recopilando data primaria y realizando una búsqueda y análisis de data secundaria, esto con el objetivo de entender las necesidades y exigencias del consumidor en el mercado extranjero. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron una favorable aceptación del producto al igual que requerimientos y barreras de entrada para ingresar al mercado. Posteriormente se verifica mediante una evaluación financiera la oportunidad de negocio y lo proyectado en un Plan de Marketing. Finalmente, se concluye que existe la factibilidad de realizar el proyecto.
