The myth that people with diabetes must eat neither sweets nor desserts is not accepted anymore. Recent research suggests that those patients may have moderate amounts of sugar in their meals and being able to maintain adequate blood glucose levels. Since the beginning of life, it has been scientifically proven that human sense of taste prefers sweet flavors as well as people with diabetes do. However, satisfying this desire may cause many problems if patients do not take control on it. Likes can be satisfied by eating sweets and desserts made for those people who have diabetes. This research wants to prove the feasibility to market and distribute candies for diabetics in Quito which are made in Medellin - Colombia. Studies show that there is a great demand sell these products. For this reason, it is necessary to study several distribution channels which permit to choose the best for the acceptance of a product that can be consumed by those with the disease which will help to improve their quality of life. Finally, a financial and economical research has been done to take decisions; the collected information of previous studies will help to determine the feasibility of this project…
