Producción musical del tema El Regreso de la banda Síderal

The purpose of this work is to present the musical production of the song “El Retorno” of the Síderal band, as a thesis of the career of Superior Technician in Recording and Musical Production of the University of the Americas. The production of the song was worked at the same time with the band, a song written by the composer and member of the band Juan Jarrin, the song explain a message about the people has old age. A meticulous work was done on the style of the song, to look for the sounds and colors that are characterized by alternative rock, taking as a reference groups like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Circa Survive, Wolfgang Muthspiel. The recording of the final theme was made at a studio that fulfilled the sound characteristics of the musical genre, with the collaboration and experience as a technical assistant of Pablo Verduga, the appropriate equipment was searched for the recording process using the techniques learned throughout of the musical production career. The work team was joined by argentine composer and arranger Fran Laurito, who identified the sound that the band was looking for, collaborating with the choirs and performing the bass. The mix of the theme was oriented by a kind of music and bands already mentioned, which looks for a simple sound, but with a great message and clean interpretation in their instruments.
Este trabajo tiene como finalidad presentar la producción musical del tema “El Regreso” de la banda Síderal, como tesis de la carrera de Técnico Superior en Grabación y Producción Musical de la Universidad de las Américas. La producción del tema fue trabajada simultáneamente con la banda Síderal, tema escrito por el compositor y miembro de la banda Juan Jarrín, conteniendo un mensaje referente a la vejez. Se realizó un trabajo minucioso sobre el estilo de la canción, para buscar los sonidos y colores que caracterizan al rock alternativo, teniendo como referencia agrupaciones como Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Circa Survive, Wolfgang Muthspiel. Para la grabación del tema final se escogió un estudio que cumple con las características sonoras al género musical, con la colaboración y experiencia como asistente técnico de Pablo Verduga, se buscó los equipos adecuados para la grabación del tema, utilizando las técnicas cultivadas a lo largo de la carrera de producción musical. Al equipo de trabajo se unió el compositor y arreglista argentino Fran Laurito, el cual identificó el sonido que la banda buscaba, colaborando con los coros e interpretando el bajo. La mezcla del tema fue orientada por el género y bandas ya mencionadas anteriormente, el cual busca un sonido simple, pero con un gran mensaje e interpretación limpia en sus instrumentos.
